About The Position

Uber Freight is looking for a Pricing Analyst to drive financial and operational growth within our Consolidation Solutions business, focusing on Partial Truckload (PTL), Shared Truckload, and LTL-to-TL conversions. In this role, you will analyze shipment profiles, engineer customer-specific pricing models, and identify network consolidation opportunities that deliver maximum shipper savings and optimal profitability. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, and Account Management teams to model transportation network scenarios and support seamless customer onboarding across our managed transportation and 4PL solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of transportation pricing, logistics analytics, supply chain engineering, or freight brokerage experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
  • Experience analyzing transportation costs, carrier pricing, and freight procurement strategies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LTL, Truckload, Partial Truckload, Pool Distribution, or Consolidation Networks.
  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of transportation pricing methodologies, benchmarking, and procurement.
  • SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platform experience.
  • Experience in managed transportation, 4PL, or freight optimization environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pricing models for PTL, Shared Truckload, and LTL-to-TL conversions.
  • Evaluate shipment profile data (weight, cube, linear feet, density) and routing patterns to build custom customer rate structures.
  • Calculate expected savings, margin, and profitability for consolidation opportunities; support recurring customer pricing reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to merge multiple LTL shipments into PTL or FTL solutions.
  • Analyze network routing, pooling strategies, carrier capacity, and lane economics to guide pricing.
  • Help develop business rules for routing guides and optimization engines.
  • Partner with Sales on RFPs to deliver pricing proposals, business cases, and savings analyses.
  • Validate pricing and benchmarking during customer onboarding and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Build and monitor dashboards tracking core metrics (cost per shipment, consolidation rate, savings realization, revenue/NETR, and margins).
  • Identify performance trends to recommend continuous optimization opportunities.
