About The Position

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Medication disbursement certification for the given state.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Prior experience in long-term care, home health, or related service industries.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Connect with residents and ensure they receive the best care and medical assistance.
• Accurately prepare and administer medications in compliance with related policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Stay familiar with residents’ medical records and medication administration records.
• Document vital signs, medication administration, resident behaviors associated with medication administration, medication incidents and accidents, and facility incidents and accidents.
• Prepare verbal and written reports concerning successful or unsuccessful medication administration.
• Report issues or problems to the direct supervisor.
• Promote and exemplify Priority Life Care’s mission and values.
