About The Position

The Medication Tech provides warm, engaging personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to senior residents. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, monitoring changes in their day and personal care needs, coordinating with the nurse to update Resident Care Plans, and encouraging participation in community programs and activities. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medication Aide in New Jersey, or as a Medication Technician in Maryland, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship.
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs and work with the nurse to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
