About The Position

Clearsite Industrial LLC is a leading provider of hydrovac and vacuum excavation services, committed to safety, efficiency, and building trusted partnerships with our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to join our team in North Brunswick Township, NJ. This role is pivotal in ensuring we attract, onboard, and retain top talent across field, operations, shop, safety, driver, and administrative functions, while supporting our HR processes and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR administration
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing through offer support
  • Experience coordinating onboarding processes from offer acceptance through start date
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ATS/job boards or equivalent tools
  • Working knowledge of HR administration and basic HR compliance in recruiting and onboarding
  • Familiarity with I-9 processing, confidential employee file management, and HR documentation
  • Familiarity with DOT-related hiring requirements, including MVR reviews and pre-employment drug testing
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (payroll, safety, operations, IT) for new-hire setup and orientation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience hiring for blue-collar, industrial, transportation, environmental, construction, or field service roles
  • Experience recruiting CDL drivers, equipment operators, mechanics, or technicians
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and supporting offer letters.
  • Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve recruiting workflows to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes from offer acceptance through start date, including document preparation, background checks, drug tests, MVR reviews, and partnering with payroll, safety, operations, and IT for new-hire setup and orientation.
  • Maintain employee files and HR documentation, support status changes, terminations, disciplinary documentation, and respond to employee HR inquiries.
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment communications, and maintain HR handbooks, forms, and processes.
  • Support leadership communications and retention efforts to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, maintain I-9 and hiring records, assist with reporting, audits, and document requests, and support DOT-related compliance and standardization of HR/recruiting procedures.
