Loss Prevention Specialist - $19/hr.

About The Position

The Loss Prevention Specialist leads safe facility operations and helps maintain the integrity of Agri-Genesis/Sunrise by ensuring that company procedures and processes are followed. The role supports a hospitable environment for patients, visitors, and employees while protecting company assets and preventing loss. The specialist monitors facility activities and security measures, assists with emergency response, documents employees and visitors, and supports opening and closing operations. The role works closely with the head of security on company policies and must complete required training. Compensation is $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Friday through Tuesday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Must be over 21 years of age.
Must be legally allowed to possess and use a firearm.
Must be able to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Card.
Must be able to obtain security licensing for the jurisdiction, if required.
Must understand hospitality practices and leadership principles.
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods, bend, and comfortably lift more than 50 pounds.
Must be able to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
Must speak English fluently.
Prior security or law enforcement experience is required.
Must be ethical and conscientious and lead with integrity.
Must be an excellent communicator.
Ability to use any security systems necessary.
Ability to use and maintain the security of a sidearm and other security tools.

Responsibilities

Meet and assist patients and visitors entering the building.
Document employees and visitors as required by company policy.
Assist facility staff in creating a hospitable, helpful environment.
Lead responses to emergencies such as severe weather, power outages, unruly persons, disturbances, and building lockdowns.
Assist with data entry using company computer systems.
Operate the company camera surveillance system to monitor activities on company property.
Ensure security measures and policies are used to prevent security issues.
Protect company assets and prevent loss by ensuring company standards and procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, compliance, and loss prevention measures.
Ensure employees properly follow company security policies and standards.
Work closely with the head of security to develop and implement company policies.
Complete all training required by the company.
Safely protect and use a sidearm and other security tools that may be required by the company.
Inspect the building as time allows and check that doors are secured according to policy.
Monitor safety and security during business opening and closing operations to protect employees and company assets.
