The HR Generalist serves as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. This role supports investigations related to employee relations, attendance, performance, and conduct, while promoting a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture. The Generalist will assist with conflict resolution, corrective action processes, and recruiting efforts including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer processing. They will coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and documentation, ensuring compliance with I-9, E-Verify, and background check processes. Maintaining accurate employee records in HRIS systems, processing personnel actions, and assisting with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries are key responsibilities. The role also supports payroll processing, timekeeping audits, and assists leaders with performance reviews, goal setting, and coaching conversations. Additionally, the HR Generalist will support training initiatives, employee development programs, track and report HR metrics, and participate in HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, retention strategies, and process improvements. This role also coordinates employee activities, performs clerical duties, approves time off, administers policies, and maintains confidentiality. Conformance to BOS, ISO/TS-16949 and Customer Specific requirements is essential.
