About The Position

Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG), a highly respected 160+ provider, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking a General Otolaryngology Medical Director to shape practice growth, while delivering a balanced mix of adult and pediatric ENT care within a well-established, physician-led health system. This position offers a high-volume, well-supported ENT practice with access to modern clinical resources, experienced support staff, and strong collaboration with primary care and specialty colleagues. Call responsibilities are structured to be manageable and equitable, supporting both professional fulfillment and personal balance.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery
  • Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider)
  • Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation
  • Eligible for participation with all payers

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive general ENT care to adult and pediatric patients
  • Diagnose and manage conditions involving the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck
  • Perform office-based ENT procedures consistent with training and interest
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to deliver timely, patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality improvement and care standardization initiatives
  • Support coverage models that ensure efficient, reliable service deliver
  • Serve as physician leader for ENT services
  • Partner with hospital and medical group leadership on quality, growth, and access initiatives
  • Lead clinical governance, including peer review, standardization, and best practices
  • Support ENT recruitment, onboarding, and engagement
  • Help shape the future-state of ENT strategy, including technology adoption and workflow innovation
