About The Position
EDEN is hiring a full-time, onsite Custodian in Cleveland to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The role includes routine cleaning throughout the facilities and supporting the organization’s mission to provide housing solutions to people facing housing insecurity and homelessness. The schedule is Monday through Friday, and the pay rate is $16.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in custodial work or a related field.
- Certification in janitorial services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across all facilities.
- Perform routine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces.
- Restock supplies.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests.
- Inspect areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
