About The Position

We are looking for an operational leader to act as the Chief of Staff for our Delivery organization. As we transition to a new capability-led structure, we need a decision-maker to serve as the right hand to the Head of Strategy & Delivery. This role will help run the daily rhythm of the business while driving critical internal initiatives. The Chief of Staff will partner closely with Capability Leads and Business Operations to ensure proper staffing, data accuracy, and adoption of established standards. This position is based in our Cleveland, OH office with a hybrid schedule, with the team in office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or agency operations.
  • Deep understanding of service business metrics (margins, utilization, leverage).
  • Fluency in Salesforce/PSA tools and Excel.
  • Strong foundation in Change Management (e.g., ADKAR principles).
  • Ability to build a communication plan and track adoption metrics.
  • Experience coaching teams through new operational behaviors.
  • Ability to identify issues in resource forecasts.
  • High EQ and low ego.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders who do not report to you.
  • Willingness to have difficult conversations about data accuracy or staffing conflicts.
  • View this role as a stepping stone to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the human in the loop for the staffing process, making final decisions on assignments while balancing client demand with employee career growth.
  • Negotiate with Project Managers regarding resource allocation when demand is high.
  • Own the weekly cadence of the delivery business, including running forecast reviews, auditing utilization data, and ensuring time-tracking accuracy.
  • Act as the Change Manager and Program Lead for the rollout of the Further Standard (consistent delivery templates and tools).
  • Design adoption strategies, manage stakeholder resistance, and address friction points to ensure new standards become daily practice.
