About The Position

INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Edmond ENT Outpatient Clinic, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system has a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant in Edmond, OK. In this position, you’ll work 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday with our team providing exceptional care to those who have entrusted INTEGRIS Health with their healthcare needs. The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor. This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. Requirements

  • Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care by taking vitals
  • Takes patient history
  • Performs venipuncture
  • Handles lab and x-ray procedures
  • Manages referrals
  • Responds to patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor
  • Requires population specific competencies
  • Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires
