About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in statistical and mathematical models for problem-solving and decision-making.
• Familiarity with agency operations, functions, and organizational structures.
• Knowledge of research techniques, methodologies, and quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Competence in project management and grant program administration.
• Strong public speaking skills, including the ability to present and defend proposals effectively.
• Analytical ability to identify, organize, and resolve problems using appropriate models or formulas.
• Proficiency in computer operations and relevant software applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating public programs, policies, or grant-funded initiatives.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance may be needed.
• Some positions may require professional licensure, such as LSW or RN, and clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize data, opinion surveys, and other research to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Review and evaluate important trends using statistical data and analysis.
• Research new programs, projects, or policies and participate in their development and implementation.
• Manage audits, monitor accreditation readiness, and ensure adherence to agency policies, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Identify trends and high-priority areas for quality improvement.
• Assist with corrective action planning and implement process improvement strategies.
• Use data analysis to evaluate effectiveness, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement across programs.
• Serve as a resource on fiscal, operational, planning, and other managerial issues affecting the department or division.
• Evaluate grant programs for effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare quarterly, annual, and other periodic reports.
• Facilitate development and implementation of the Area Plan and subsequent updates.
• Identify possible courses of action and advise management of their relative advantages and disadvantages.
• Attend meetings and neighborhood forums as assigned by the supervisor.
• Participate in community events, information gathering, and committees to contribute an aging, disability, and planning perspective, as assigned by the supervisor.
• Manage internal and external data dashboards and other data visualization projects.
