About The Position

The Clinical Cloud Operations Analyst applies working clinical imaging and technical knowledge to investigate and resolve moderately challenging, conventional application and workflow issues for assigned customers. The role evaluates diagnostic evidence and standard interactions among supported applications, PACS, databases, networks, and DICOM or HL7 interfaces using established methods. The analyst manages assigned work under general supervision, independently completes familiar tasks within approved procedures, and seeks guidance for unfamiliar, cross-system, or higher-risk issues. The position contributes to requirements documentation, prescribed testing, and approved change validation to help ensure clinical imaging operations run smoothly and reliably for customers. The role is remote in the USA, with an anticipated start date of January 2026 and up to 10% travel potentially required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience in clinical imaging, PACS administration, healthcare technology, application support, or technical support.
  • Working knowledge of clinical imaging workflows, PACS, DICOM, HL7, supported clinical applications, and customer support practices.
  • Ability to investigate standard imaging and message-flow issues within assigned scope.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, SQL databases, networks, application logs, and diagnostic methods, including the ability to interpret evidence and perform approved data checks.
  • Good critical-thinking, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize assigned work and manage requests through completion under general supervision.
  • Good customer service, collaboration, oral communication, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete familiar assignments independently within established procedures, work effectively with others, and seek guidance when scope, precedent, or risk requires it.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant clinical imaging or PACS credentials such as ARRT, PARCA CPAS, CIIP, or vendor-specific PACS certification, when applicable to the assigned portfolio.
  • Exposure to RIS or EHR interactions, clinical interfaces, documented testing, or approved upgrade and migration validation.
  • Familiarity with change-control, access, privacy, security, and protected health information handling procedures.
  • Practical experience gathering and documenting workflow needs, following prescribed test scenarios, recording results accurately, and identifying discrepancies for review.
  • Experience collecting and documenting reproducible evidence of suspected software defects and summarizing observed behavior and customer impact for review by experienced analysts and engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with approved implementations, upgrades, migrations, and post-change checks.
  • Experience supporting quality and compliance processes within a clinical or healthcare IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve moderately challenging clinical application and imaging workflow issues using established diagnostic methods, documented practices, and support processes.
  • Review application logs, approved system data, interface messages, and customer-reported workflow behavior to identify likely causes; escalate conflicting evidence or unfamiliar dependencies and maintain accurate case records and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Gather and document customer-reported workflow needs and issue details using established templates, confirming understanding with clinical users, customer IT, and experienced analysts.
  • Serve as a primary operational contact for assigned customers, communicating progress, dependencies, risks, and delays and maintaining case accountability through documented and verified resolution.
  • Execute documented functional and integration test cases for assigned fixes, upgrades, or configuration changes; record results and discrepancies and assist with regression testing and clinical-user validation.
  • Support approved implementations, upgrades, migrations, and post-change checks within assigned responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with clinical, application, database, network, integration, cloud operations, and engineering colleagues on assigned issues.
  • Follow applicable privacy, security, and protected health information handling requirements.
