About The Position

Requirements

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• 1 to 2 years of experience is stated; dispatching, transportation, logistics, or fleet coordination experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Review truck request status and assign drivers to pickups and transfers.
• Communicate with drivers to check their locations and coordinate upcoming pickups and transfers.
• Use two-way radios to assign pickups and GPS to track trucks.
• Update driver statuses in the truck control file, including Pending, On the way, Arrive, On hold, Loaded, and Unloaded.
• Assign drivers to their next pickup promptly and update statuses accordingly.
• Respond promptly to team members requesting pickup status through Microsoft Teams.
• Communicate updates and new requests to drivers, including requests for combined shipments from different teams.
• Receive status updates from drivers by radio and update their statuses.
