About The Position

Requirements

• Possess a strong understanding of communications support to US Army operations and training; US Army simulations architectures and capabilities; US Army Regulations and policies.
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification (minimum).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with network architecture design and implementation.
• Be a US citizen.
• Possess a SECRET clearance.

Nice To Haves

• BA/BS degree in Network Management or related field
• Military service with experience in areas like those listed under required qualifications.
• Familiarity with US Army training, operations, TADSS, and mission command information systems (MCIS)
• Military service in Signal/Communications/Cyber unit and/or functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical integration SME for integrating training networks, simulations, and mission command systems for exercises.
• Support training audience with exercise technical planning, network architecture, and Technical Integration Working Groups (TIWG).
• In conjunction with MTC Network Engineer, coordinate technical integration requirements.
• Provide network support for MEDCoE student and distributed training events.
• Manage MCIS systems, update systems as required.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues with MCIS and related software.
• Provide expertise in simulation stimulation for MCIS using Army Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC-G) Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS).
