About The Position

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Two years of medical-surgical nursing or equivalent experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN.
• Long Term Acute Care or rehabilitation nursing experience.
• Management-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care for the nursing units.
• Solve problems and provide adequate staffing.
• Monitor work performance and provide employees with appropriate feedback regarding performance and behavior.
• Interpret, implement, and enforce hospital policy.
• Assume responsibility for nursing administrative decisions in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, if applicable.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
