About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead and manage a team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment. The role supports Cleveland Clinic’s standards for patient care, safety, and operational efficiency and contributes to a positive and productive work environment. The supervisor oversees the department’s technical and administrative functions, supports team members, and ensures effective use of personnel, policies, and procedures. This caregiver position works evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three years of experience as a work leader, team lead, or project manager; or one year of supervisory experience in a related field; or a bachelor’s degree.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous environmental services or housekeeping experience.
Experience with Workday.

Responsibilities

Supervise the technical and administrative functions of the Environmental Services department.
Act as a technical resource for team members.
Implement goals consistent with assigned clinical and non-clinical units.
Use personnel, policies, and procedures effectively to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment.
Supervise caregivers in daily operations and evaluate performance.
Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure high-quality cleaning and maintenance.
Maintain staffing levels.
Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.
Ensure cross coverage.
Coordinate and provide orientation, education, and training.
Improve procedures and processes.
Analyze workflow and procedures.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve speed, quality, and effectiveness.
