About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Food and Beverage Supervisor for The Belgrove, a 4-Diamond resort in West Palm Beach. The supervisor helps provide leadership for the Food and Beverage operation, supporting its financial and quality goals and ensuring effective, efficient operations. The role also focuses on improving existing practices and managing consistently with Benchmark’s mission, operating philosophy, standards, and values. The position involves coordinating information about events, supporting guests and other departments, maintaining food, beverage, and service standards, controlling costs, supporting staff productivity, and assisting with hiring and training. The supervisor may also assist other Food and Beverage outlets as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a restaurant at a luxury hotel or full-service resort.
Knowledge of Micros.
Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pleasant and positive personality.
Well organized.

Responsibilities

Attend weekly meetings and relay information about upcoming events to supervised staff.
Provide information about the operation’s capabilities and programs to other departments, clients, and potential clients.
Respond to the needs and requests of guests and potential guests.
Ensure food, beverage, and service quality standards are implemented and maintained at a first-class level.
Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage, and labor.
Use systems for inventory, receiving, and product utilization to manage product cost.
Lead by following productivity standards for Food and Beverage personnel.
Create a comfortable atmosphere that encourages committed and loyal employees.
Assist with hiring and training programs for Food and Beverage personnel.
Assist other Food and Beverage outlets as needed.
