About The Position

This role involves overseeing daily shipping and receiving operations for parts and materials, managing warehouse organization and inventory control, and also includes driving duties for deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments, maintain inventory records, and operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials throughout the shift
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods and working in warehouse conditions

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily shipping and receiving operations for parts and materials
  • Inspect, verify, and process incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
  • Prepare, pack, label, and schedule outbound shipments accurately and on time
  • Maintain organized warehouse/storage areas and ensure proper inventory control
  • Track inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and update records in the system
  • Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and operations teams regarding part availability and order status
  • Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and delivery confirmations
  • Resolve discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages promptly
  • Safely operate company vehicle to deliver parts to customers and pick up parts from suppliers or other locations
  • Plan efficient routes for daily deliveries and pickups
  • Load and unload parts carefully, securing cargo properly
  • Obtain signatures and complete delivery/pickup documentation
  • Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle
  • Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or incidents immediately
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries and pickups
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
