About The Position
Hunting, Dearborn Division is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our dynamic scheduling team. The scheduler works collaboratively with production supervisors to execute the production plan on a weekly basis, ensuring supervisors have enough work to load their machine resources. Requirements
- 2- 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Training in throughput or theory of constraints is preferred
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and the flow of production
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams comprised of members within and outside of the organization
Responsibilities
- Develop a solid understanding of specific software including but not limited to: Lilly Works and Protected Flow Manufacturing (PFM) Theory of Operation
- Understanding the terminology and functionality of PFM and D365 and how they interact
- Provide critical data to support the Dearborn Planning Methodology
- Perform labor adjustments in D365 and assist in training new employees with the program
- Dispatch operations by department and machines
- Complete daily and weekly tasks list that support the accuracy of the schedule
- Lead weekly through put meeting
- Understand how the ship list is created and how to incorporate any expedites needed into the department dispatches
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
