About The Position

TYLin is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) for its PMCM group to support various rail and transit projects. The role participates in project logistics, delivery, and workforce planning and incorporates this information into critical path method (CPM) schedules using Primavera P6. It also reviews contractor schedules, tracks work progress, attends project meetings, coordinates with clients and consultants, and identifies improvements to scheduling procedures and products.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 3 years of construction project scheduling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with the majority of experience in transportation.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
Client-focused approach and commitment to providing clients with the best solutions.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of construction scheduling processes.
Familiarity with and knowledge of Primavera P6.
Certifications with PMI or AACEI.

Responsibilities

Participate in logistical, delivery, and workforce planning with project personnel and incorporate the plans into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6.
Review and provide comments on contractor-prepared baseline, update, and recovery schedules using Primavera P6.
Attend project progress and schedule meetings.
Accurately track contractor work progress related to the schedule.
Maintain liaison with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Identify improvements to schedule procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to the appropriate line manager.
