About The Position

As a Senior Scheduler at Linesight, you will work with experienced, culturally diverse teams in a collaborative environment and take responsibility for your role and career progression. You will develop and manage project schedules, coordinate timelines and interdependencies with key partners, and provide regular progress updates. The position is hybrid, with 3–4 days per week on a project site in Frederick or Gaithersburg, Maryland, and the option to work remotely 1–2 days per week. The stated salary range is $108,000–$145,000, with actual salary dependent on skills, education, and experience. Interviews are conducted in person or virtually, with video required.

Requirements

• Have developed planning and scheduling skills.
• Demonstrated quantitative risk assessment (QRA) experience, including the ability to interpret and communicate findings to key partners.
• Working experience using Primavera P6 planning software to build schedules.
• A degree or comparable experience in project management or construction.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Comfort working in a dynamic environment and managing personal priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build project schedules covering full project scope, milestones, and timelines using critical plan methodology.
• Define clear responsibility and ownership for project outcomes using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology.
• Ensure schedules adhere to the project execution plan, including contracting, procurement, and project control strategies and plans.
• Establish a clear method for baselining schedules and manage periodic updates.
• Manage the fully integrated project schedule and structure it to allow review at multiple levels of detail.
• Negotiate and mediate timelines and project interdependencies between key partners to achieve a strong client outcome.
• Provide regular updates on schedule progress.
• Review external schedules to ensure they follow scheduling best practices.
