About The Position

Traditional Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Home Health Scheduler for their Dunmore, PA office. This full-time role, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, involves Home Health scheduling, authorizations, and data entry. Traditional Home Health Care is a leader in the health care field providing skilled nursing/aide services and state of the art educational programs. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in Healthcare / Home Health
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Computer and EMR proficiency
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and work alongside multiple departments / personnel

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certificate or degree

Responsibilities

  • Assigning / scheduling nurses and aides for Home Health patients based on geography and staff case load
  • Collaborate with road staff regarding scheduling changes as needed
  • Assist receptionist as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned
