• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability by achieving financial goals.
• Lead KPI initiatives through Associate training and development.
• Maintain merchandise presentation according to visual merchandising standards, floor sets, product messaging, and current promotions.
• Demonstrate customer engagement, set customer-service expectations for the team, and promote solution-oriented service through brand and product knowledge.
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop optimum staffing levels and floor coverage.
• Ensure customer profile information is accurately recorded.
• Maintain cleanliness standards for the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area.
• Partner with the Store Manager to recruit, hire, train, motivate, and lead employees.
• Provide regular, clear, and consistent employee feedback and assist with timely completion of human resources protocols and documentation.
• Assist with goal setting for the Store leadership team and maintain store and employee files to company standards.
• Follow company guidelines, policies, and programs; respond to feedback; and identify problems and opportunities to discuss with the Store Manager.
• Manage inventory and expense control and lead accurate, timely handling of merchandise receipts and transfers.
• Lead visual merchandising of the sales floor.
• Understand, execute, and train employees in cash handling and reporting functions; ensure register functions are properly processed.
• Ensure the store is secured and respond to alarms as directed.
• Help ensure employee and customer safety and communicate concerns to the Store Manager or Human Resources.
