About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team with store operations management and team leadership. The role helps drive daily store performance, motivate employees, and deliver customer service. It contributes to store profitability by managing inventory, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and carrying out sales management initiatives. The position also involves overseeing store systems and operational procedures, addressing challenges and customer concerns, and occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Maintain product displays and store layouts in line with Skechers' standards.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Support peak store operations by occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
