About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team with operations management and team leadership. The role is responsible for driving daily store performance, inspiring employees, and ensuring seamless customer service. The Assistant Store Manager contributes to store profitability by managing inventory, improving visual merchandising, and carrying out sales management initiatives. The position also oversees store systems and operational processes, including scheduling and opening and closing procedures, and may occasionally involve lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation, acting as a brand ambassador.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking processes, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Support peak store operations by occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and drive revenue growth and sales goal attainment.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
