Program Manager

Genex SystemsJoint Base Langley-Eustis, VA
Onsite

About The Position

This position is contingent upon Genex Systems being awarded this contract. Candidates selected for this role will be considered pending the outcome of the award decision. Help lead the facilities and infrastructure buildout behind one of the Air Force's most significant fighter-training relocations in a decade. As Program Manager, you'll keep planning, design, and construction efforts on track and on schedule as a major training mission stands up its permanent home, giving you direct, visible ownership of a program leadership is watching closely. Joint Base Langley-Eustis became the permanent home of the F-22 Raptor's Formal Training Unit after the Air Force relocated the mission from Tyndall Air Force Base following Hurricane Michael's 2018 damage there. Standing up the training unit at its new home has required new, purpose-built facilities, including a consolidated operations and maintenance hangar, a low-observable component repair facility, and a training support squadron facility, all coordinated by the 633d Civil Engineer Squadron in partnership with the 1st Fighter Wing. This role sits inside that effort, keeping the planning and construction program for the training unit's beddown organized and on schedule.
