ASC Transporter - Patient Representatives

About The Position
The ASC Transporter assists patients traveling to and from the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and provides general courier services to Hattiesburg Clinic. The position requires a professional, pleasant, and outgoing manner; discretion when handling sensitive information; and the ability to communicate effectively and make precise decisions in stressful or complicated situations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Professional appearance.
- Outgoing and pleasant personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful and complicated situations with poise and precise decision-making.
- Ability to walk and remain on feet for several hours at a time.
- Ability to assist with lifting more than 100 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or reach overhead and at or below shoulder level.
- Ability to communicate constantly, including speaking and hearing face to face and over the phone.

- Assist patients to and from the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
- Provide general courier services to Hattiesburg Clinic.
