About The Position

We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Transporter to provide essential transportation support for our patients during their recovery journey. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients travel safely and comfortably to and from appointments, group sessions, and other necessary destinations. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for the last 3 years.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality standards.
  • Relevant certifications in CPR or first aid are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients to and from appointments, group sessions, recreational activities, and discharge destinations.
  • Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and comply with all safety regulations.
  • Maintain a secure and professional environment during transport, adhering to all policies and protocols.
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate patient schedules and report any concerns.
