About The Position

The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient safety and comfort while transporting patients throughout the Providence St Vincent Medical Center campus. The role exemplifies service excellence when interacting with patients, families, and visitors. This is a full-time, variable evening-shift position with start times between 11 AM and 10 PM, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with computers.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience working in healthcare with patient contact and training in proper patient transfer techniques, or experience in a customer service position or field.
