About The Position
As a Patient Transporter at Gateway Hospital, you will support Deaconess’s healing mission by transporting patients to tests and procedures within the hospital. You will assist patients into wheelchairs or carts and offer them support and encouragement. The position is full time on the day shift, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; job-provided training is available.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients to tests and procedures within the hospital.
