About The Position

The ASC Transporter assists patients traveling to and from the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and provides general courier services to Hattiesburg Clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Professional appearance.
• Outgoing and pleasant personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful and complicated situations with poise and precise decision-making.
• Ability to walk and remain on feet for several hours at a time.
• Ability to assist with lifting more than 100 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or reaching, both overhead and at or below shoulder level.
• Constant communication, including speaking and hearing, face to face and over the phone.
