About The Position

Requirements

• Six months of clerical or customer service experience; preferably in a hospital or medical office.
• Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and the ability to work accurately and efficiently on a computer.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Collect information efficiently and accurately to register pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Collect and distribute patient, billing, and collection information.
• Inform patients and families about hospital policies and procedures.
• Communicate courteously with patients, families, and others to maintain sound community relations.
