About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible production supervision experience.
• Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field equivalent to a 4 year college degree.
• Direct oversight of SOP’s within department.
• A high level of analytical ability is required.
• Ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to work in a fast paced work environment.
• Superior communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Good Computer Skills - Windows Office, Outlook, Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience managing in a union environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing the Bakery Production.
• Managing the plant Production Budget.
• Establishing specific goals and standards for each area of responsibility to achieve understanding and relate the work to company policies and objectives.
• Staffing the bakery.
• Establishing production schedules.
• Conducting research and running test dough to develop new products.
• Performing tasks requiring independent knowledge of the baking process in addition to procedures or instructions provided.
• Continuous improvement in operations and cost control.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Adherence to company policies.
