About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations. The role leads and develops teams, supports a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to the success of DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, has over 50,000 associates, and manages more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Uphold health and safety compliance and foster heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
• Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
• Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on Supervisor hiring, providing input and recommendations to support candidate selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly and consistently.
• Build strong customer partnerships and address concerns proactively to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
