About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations. The role leads and develops a team, fosters a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to operational success and customer satisfaction. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, employs over 50,000 associates, and manages over 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to improve productivity and operational efficiency while reducing costs.
Uphold health and safety compliance and promote heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on the hiring process for Supervisors, providing input and recommendations on candidates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and consistently.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
