About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implementing processes to optimize operations. The role leads and develops teams, promotes a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to the success of DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, has over 50,000 associates, and manages more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space. The role has a national salary range of $72,000–$85,000. For California, the range is $75,000–$95,000; for Washington, it is $80,169–$95,000. DHL Supply Chain describes its environment as business casual and focused on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, guide, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on the Supervisor hiring process and provide input and recommendations on candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
