About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations. The role leads and develops a diverse team, fosters a safe, productive, inclusive work environment, and contributes to the success of DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations. Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity and operational efficiency while reducing costs.
Uphold health and safety regulations and promote heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on the hiring process for Supervisors, providing input and recommendations to support candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to support exceptional customer satisfaction.
