About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations. The role leads and develops a diverse team, fosters an inclusive, safe, and productive workplace, and contributes to the overall success of the organization. It also works with cross-functional teams and customers to support timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer satisfaction. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities and employs over 50,000 associates across more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space. The national salary range is $72,000–$85,000. For roles in California, the range is $75,000–$95,000; in Washington, it is $80,169–$95,000. Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety compliance and promote heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on Supervisor hiring, providing input and recommendations to support candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
