About The Position

The Operations Manager II role at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses. The position leads teams, implements processes to optimize warehouse operations, promotes a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to the success of DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, employs over 50,000 associates, and manages over 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports, while fostering an inclusive team culture.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety compliance and foster heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on the hiring process for Supervisors, providing input and recommendations to support candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and consistently.
Build strong customer partnerships and address concerns or issues to support exceptional customer satisfaction.
