About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations. The role leads and develops teams, supports a safe and productive work environment, and contributes to the success of contract logistics operations. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities and employs over 50,000 associates across more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in the logistics industry.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Promote compliance with health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Encourage open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on the hiring process for Supervisors and provide input on candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and consistently.
Partner with customers and address concerns or issues to support exceptional customer satisfaction.
