About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient warehouse operations and implementing processes to optimize performance. The role leads and develops Supervisors and indirect reports, builds an inclusive team culture, and promotes a safe and productive work environment. It also works with leadership, Human Resources, cross-functional teams, and customers to improve operational efficiency, fulfill customer orders, and support customer satisfaction. The national salary range is $75,000–$90,000, with bonus potential. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports, while fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness.
• Compile reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
• Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring Supervisors, providing input and recommendations on candidate selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
• Partner with customers and address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
