About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouses and implementing processes that optimize operations. The role leads and develops a diverse team, fosters a safe, productive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment, and drives operational success and continuous improvement. The position supports DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations and works with customers and cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports, while fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety regulations and foster heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on the hiring process for Supervisors, providing input and recommendations to support talent selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt and consistent fulfillment of customer orders.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns or issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
