About The Position

Requirements

• Experience as a Medical Receptionist, Front Desk Coordinator, Patient Service Representative, Medical Office Assistant, or similar customer service role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
• Positive attitude with a strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person with a great work ethic and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with a warm, professional attitude
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Check patients in and out efficiently
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
• Collect copays and patient balances
• Maintain accurate patient information within our EMR system
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
• Help keep provider schedules organized and running smoothly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office
