About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must successfully complete all required clinical skills evaluations in alignment with AMG requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
• Must obtain a nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification with one of the nationally recognized organizations (AAMA, AAH, AMT, NHA) within 12 months of hire as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional care through the application of clinical skills and processes to assigned patients.
• Provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other members of the care team to achieve optimal patient care.
• Functions clinically under the direct supervision of the physician.
• If working in a Scribe role, enters information into the Electronic Medical Record or Chart at the direction of a physician or licensed independent practitioner.
• Documents the physician's or licensed independent practitioner's dictation and/or activities.
