About The Position

One Medical is hiring a per diem, hourly clinician for its West Portal and surrounding San Francisco offices. The role involves seeing patients with a broad range of needs and providing acute, chronic, and well visits; it is not a panel-building role. Care is delivered in-office, with occasional telehealth visits. Clinicians collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, use their clinical training to provide care and perform in-office procedures, and are willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states. This is a casual employment role involving 8–23 patient-care hours per week.

Requirements

• Complete an accredited NP or PA program and hold national certification.
• Within the past five years, have practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least two years in an outpatient primary care setting, or one year in outpatient primary care coupled with either a one-year primary care fellowship or at least one year in an urgent care setting.
• Hold a California state license by the One Medical start date.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
• Communicate effectively with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
• Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
• Show a passion for human-centered primary care and a desire to contribute to a team changing healthcare delivery.
• Be open to feedback and reflection, navigate uncertain situations confidently, and adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities
