About The Position

The Clinical Assistant provides a positive experience to the communities served by Mon Health through direct and indirect total nursing care of patients. The role requires a patient-centered approach, competent performance of routine patient care procedures, and adherence to safety practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering a variety of routine patient care procedures, acquired through on-the-job training.
• Ability to perform heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and more than 20 pounds constantly.

Nice To Haves

• Computer literacy.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and expectations and respond to them in a timely and effective manner.
• Demonstrate sufficient job skills and knowledge in day-to-day situations.
• Develop realistic plans to accomplish goals, including allocating resources, planning for contingencies, and setting milestones to measure progress.
• Follow safety practices that reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, or equipment failures.
• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to patients.
• Perform routine patient care procedures.
