About The Position
Cabinet IQ is seeking a Kitchen Designer & Sales Consultant to join its growing team in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The company describes its success as driven by delivering a 6-Star Experience, world-class processes and systems, and a team of design professionals. The role combines kitchen and bath design, client consultation, sales follow-up, and relationship building with local industry professionals. The designer will work with clients to understand their needs, develop tailored design and product solutions, take on-site measurements, and create designs using 2020 Design. The position is based out of a new showroom when not attending appointments. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is a base salary plus uncapped commission. The company offers a brand-new showroom, a company-provided laptop and professional design tools, peer support for 2020 Design questions, and a CRM system for managing qualified leads and client workflows. It also provides training and development programs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in 2020 Design Software.
- An outgoing, proactive, and professional demeanor.
- Strong work ethic and extreme attention to detail.
- Solid math and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) and Adobe PDF.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Energetic, dependable, positive, can-do attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Five or more years of kitchen design and sales experience.
- Construction experience.
Responsibilities
- Understand client needs and curate tailored design and product solutions.
- Meet clients on-site to take field measurements and design kitchens and baths using 2020 Design.
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and clients to maximize sales performance.
- Participate in company training and development programs.
- Serve clients from the Waukesha showroom when not at appointments.
- Build relationships with remodelers, builders, and design professionals through local networking.
