Designer - Kitchen/Bath
About The Position
Designers support three primary store priorities: Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. They provide fast, thorough, and friendly customer service by welcoming customers, assessing their kitchen and/or bath project needs, providing showroom tours, arranging kitchen and/or bath measures, and reviewing room designs with customers to make purchasing recommendations. Designers also assess stock levels of samples and brochures and restock them as needed. They maintain special order displays and showrooms to promote an appealing and safe shopping environment. Through these activities, Designers drive sales in support of department and store goals.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide fast, thorough, and friendly service.
- Assess customers’ kitchen and/or bath project needs.
- Provide showroom tours.
- Set customers up for kitchen and/or bath measures.
- Meet with customers to review room designs and make purchasing recommendations.
- Assess stock levels of samples and brochures and restock them as necessary.
- Ensure special order displays and showrooms promote an appealing and safe shopping environment.
- Drive sales to support department and store goals.
