About The Position

Gulfeagle Supply is a family-owned distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products, serving professional contractors as well as homeowners, building owners, architects, and general contractors. The Kitchen Designer is responsible for quoting and designing with 20/20 software, responding to customer needs, and supporting branch sales budgets through market awareness, job selling, initiative, and professional job quotes. The role also includes other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work independently, with strong administrative and interpersonal skills. They should be able to understand and carry out oral and written directions, exercise independent judgment, and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees and customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of kitchen/bath design experience using 20/20 software.
Strong kitchen-design skills using 20/20 software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with cash handling.
Ability to prioritize and meet company timelines.
Well organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
Ability to exercise independent judgment in making decisions.
Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Design kitchens and prepare quotes using 20/20 software.
Respond to customer needs and support branch sales budgets through market awareness, job selling, initiative, and professional job quotes.
Communicate with customers, vendors, management, and team members verbally and in writing.
Build lasting relationships to obtain and retain buyers.
Provide effective price quotes and follow-up communication.
Handle cash.
Prioritize work and meet company timelines.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
