About The Position

The Kitchen Designer is responsible for quoting and designing projects using 20/20 software. The role responds to customer needs and supports branch sales goals through market awareness, job selling, initiative, and professional quoting. The designer builds lasting relationships with buyers, communicates with customers, vendors, management, and team members, and helps meet customer budgets and company timelines. The position also involves cash handling and maintaining a safe, clean work area. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of kitchen or bath design experience using 20/20 software.
• Strong kitchen design skills using 20/20 software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills when working with customers, vendors, management, and team members.
• Experience with cash handling.
• Well organized, with strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Able to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Able to exercise independent judgment in making decisions.
• Able to maintain cooperative working relationships with employees and customers.

• Design kitchens and prepare quotes using 20/20 software.
• Respond to customer needs and support branch sales goals through market awareness, job selling, initiative, and professional quoting.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with new buyers.
• Provide price quotes and conduct follow-up communication.
• Handle cash.
• Prioritize work and meet company timelines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
